2022 is almost over.

2022 is almost over.

I don’t know what your thoughts are of this past year, but I have a feeling it was an eventful one. There were probably some high moments and some low moments. If this year was exceptionally hard for you, I am sorry, and may God continue to watch over you and your family.

Life is indeed a journey, every year is different, every year comes with new experiences and challenges. I have many things to be thankful for. Every year I can spend with my family is a blessing indeed. Our church has gone through some changes also. We have new people that has joined our church community. We have had hundreds of people from our community participate in our ministries. We had 10 baptisms! I am excited to be part of this church, and I can’t wait what our future holds.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;

For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Psalm 37:23:24

We can’t go forward until we have looked behind us. Whatever lessons we have learned or still learning from this year, let us make the most of this year. Let’s not let 2022 go until we have taken the time to reflect on what the Lord is doing in our lives. Let us continue to be the people that God has called us to be. Taking each day for what it is, is what God is calling us to do. God has guided our steps, and every experience is a God given opportunity to learn more about Him.

I do not know what 2023 holds, but we will go forward. Trusting in our Heavenly Maker to lead our church to do what He has for us. No matter how small or big. To reach out to one or to hundreds, but we must be faithful. Do not lose heart, hold onto the faith, and expect every good thing. I guarantee we will be challenged, our lives and our church will never be “smooth sailing”, but for any obstacle, God has designed each challenge for our growth. We are one year closer to the Day of the Lord, let us continue to strive for His glory, every and each day until He comes. Amen.

Still Connected to the Vine
