A New Adventure

3/2/2023
If you haven’t heard our church is branching out to new media forms.
I asked some hard questions to our church members. Do young adults
have a place in this church? If so, what would be the best way to reach out
to them? The good news is that our church has not given up on this age
group. God can make a difference to this group and they can become a
vital member of any church.
I am already seeing what God can do. The very fact that we have
young adults coming to our church is a blessing. God has a plan, and we
are going to witness what God has in store for His church and people. We
have set up a room in the back of the church, and we have bought camera
equipment to reach out to where young people “live”. The social medium is
where young minds are being spoken to, and we want to take advantage of
this medium. I personally don’t understand much of the language young
people use on media, but I have a lot of help from younger people to speak
to this generation.
Pastor Victor and a cohort of young adults are planning ways to reach
out to this group, so they might find a community, and also a church that
can inspire them to follow God. The plan is not to just create a young adult
group, but it is also a bridge to get young people attached to the greater
church body. A church is full of young and older, we are all the body of
Christ, and we want to help those who are not a part of this body become
united into the Master.
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an
example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12.
Please pray for this new endeavor. The last finishing work will be
done by the young. There is great passion and love among our young people.
I am watching and waiting to see what God has in store for our church. May
we continue to strive for the kingdom, and work till our time on this world is
done.
