All things through Christ

When I look for inspiration, I don’t have to look any farther than Jesus. Sports news, have all this chatter of someone being the greatest of all time. In all honesty, can anyone hold a candle to Jesus? There are a million things that Jesus did that made Him a special person, but one of the qualities that stand out to me is His pure determination. He was never going to quit on God, He was never going to quit on us. He put His whole trust in the Father to carry Him through. For every weak moment or a thought of doubt. He ever relied on His Father to get Him through any trial. Jesus did not give up.

I can’t say that I have not thought about giving up. To be honest, there were moments in my life where I did give up. Sometimes it feels easier to quit and just live with the consequences. Life can be frustrating at times, and in these moments we wallow in our own self pity.

I can do all things through Christ

which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:13.

God is merciful to us, isn’t He? He lets us complain, doubt, or sometimes run away. Through our weakest moments, God is there for us. God never gives up on us. I can’t imagine how difficult life was for Jesus. Every single day must have been a test, but through it all He gave it His best. The phrase, “I surrender all” comes to my mind. I will give up everything,

I have nothing to lose. God, you have my life, and everything in it is YOUR responsibility.

Whatever happens to me in this world, is something God will carry me through. Ups or downs, God is there for me, and I can live this life knowing that God has provided. Looking at Jesus’ life, I know there will be many challenges in the way, but God has answers for every question. Jesus was a Survivor, He was a Testimony, and He was the Victor. Thank you Jesus for all that you were, and all that you are to us.
