Could not survive without God!
No one likes to be sick. Your body aches, your head heats up, you have congestion in your lungs, what a terrible feeling. Some sicknesses are severe and can have catastrophic consequences, and sometimes leads to death. There are so many things that can go wrong, and I am surprised we can make it through a single day! Imagine living for 900 years, those were our first parents. They had bodies that were strong, and I imagine, immune to many diseases. What our bodies are now is but a shadow of what it used to be. If I had to make a guess, I don’t think we could survive without the help of our Lord.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Pslam 28:7
Of all the things that we take for granted, one is our health. Working with God’s natural law, He keeps us safe. There are terrible diseases floating around our world, and we do our best to stay healthy, but God goes with us, as we take care of His temple. I once read in a journal that mental stress is one of the greater contributor to disease. Having an assurance that God is with us is very important for our health. God can and must take care of our bodies. We live in a sinful environment, but God gives us health and strength to get through our days.
I don’t know what physical ailments you are dealing with. Pains from head to toe, the older we get, it doesn’t get any easier. God has not forgotten us nor forsaken us. He empathizes with our pain, and wants to bring something good through the suffering we are facing. It’s hard to smile when your are sick, but take heart, Jesus has overcome the world, and He promises us a new body one day that will never get sick or be in pain. What a glorious day that will be. Stay safe my friends.
