Going Home

What is Bible Prophecy? There are so many answers to that question. It is history understood in context of prophecy. It is making sense of current events. It reveals us to plans that God only knows in the future. It is seeing what God has done for His people, how He is guiding us day by day, and gives us hope that whatever our future holds, our God is with us. We are a church built and lived through Bible prophecy. The Seventh-day Adventist church would not exist without the belief that we are fast approaching the day of our Lord.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12.

Whatever our lot in life, our goal is the same, we are going home. This world is not our home, and our heart and mind is on the eternal. What is Bible prophecy? It is destiny. I don’t have to worry about what happens in the world. I already know how it will end. The winds of strife can blow like a hurricane, but I can be sure that our God is in full control and He will take care of His people. What about the signs of the end you ask? They are confirmation that our belief in God is sure. Jesus will come back, that is for certain, and I pray every single one of us will be there when He comes in the sky above. Bible prophecy is a message of hope for all His believers. We are not alone, the end will come, and then eternity will be ours. Let us finish the work set before us, we have a mission to fulfill. When the gospel is taken to all the world, then the world will end. Amen.
