Life is Like a Box of Chocolates
If there is one sad truth it life, it is this. Life has many hardships. Nothing good comes easy, and many trials dot our lives. This is not to say that life can’t be enjoyable. As said by a famous poet Forest Gump, life is like a box of chocolates, you don’t know what you will get.
For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” Hebrews 12:6
There is something precious in us. God sees in us qualities in us that we can’t even imagine, and to that end God ever refines our characters. I’ve never purified gold before, but I know it takes a lot of heat. Sin has corrupted our souls and minds, and God wishes to remove these stains from ourselves. “Growing up” is never easy, no matter how old we are, but God is patient. No parent wants to see their children suffer, but in this world, we find much pain. God understands, He empathizes, and then He transforms. Let not your heart be troubled, we have a God who never gives up on us, nor leaves alone.
