The "Magical" Kingdom.
Disneyland.
If you grow up in Southern California you go to Disneyland a lot. My earliest memories, and many moments with friends and relatives revolve around the “magical” kingdom. I don’t know how many times I’ve gone, but it has changed a lot since the 70’s.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
There were hundreds of people walking from the parking lot to the entrance. As I looked around, I got a rush of excitement. Not for the reason you might think. I had a thought, a wonderful thought. I thought about the first time I would enter the kingdom of God. My wife and children walking next to me, thousands of people all excited to have made it to the “end”. All walking toward Jesus, toward the true kingdom. I’m sorry to say, there will be no comparison between Disneyland and heaven. You don’t have to look very hard to see that humans have tried to make something “magical”, but heaven will be like nothing ever seen before. There are no words to describe what awaits for us.
I am so ready to walk into a brand new reality. My legs won’t get tired, I won’t get sick, we will see loved ones that have passed away. Eternity will be our future, and life will be beyond what we have imagined. This world will fade away into our distant memory. We are almost home my friends, hold on, do not give up the faith. Let’s All be there!
